Bill Shea, CPO
Certified Prosthetist Orthotist
I graduated in 1993 from Florida International University. I became certified in both prosthetics and orthotics in 1995 and always focus on patient care through great service, availability, a superb product, and standing behind the product to ensure life goals are achieved by each individual I work with. I believe it’s a team effort.
My strongest strength is the ability to learn and adapt to ever changing technologies, and the complexities of blending them with the human body for every age.
Although I am not an amputee, my years of experience and listening to the 1000’s of amputees I have assisted to achieve their active lifestyle. I can ensure the socket design and components will be exactly what we decide. I evaluate every product and become trained if needed as quick as possible.
With orthotics, I have been able to try demo’s on every off the shelf item I fit on anyone. If it isn’t easy and comfortable, then I do research to find one that is as long as it provides the proper function for the goal. When it’s custom I ensure the proper fit, function and ease of use.
My fantastic wife Kai and our 2 boys are 100 percent behind this new business. My parents Ed and Liz are very excited I decided to open my own office. I worked for Hanger Inc. for 22 years, 2.5 years in Georgia, 10 in San Francisco, and 9.5 in Santa Rosa, and changes were made and I was given the opportunity to become part of Spectrum.
I know with my ability, empathy, and passion I can provide the care and support anyone needs.
I look forward in seeing you soon!
