Our inspirational person this month is Jessica Cox. She is a college graduate, and a black belt in Taekwondo. She is also first woman in history to receive a pilot’s license, with no arms.

Cox was born without arms as a result of a birth defect. She has accomplished much in her life including getting married recently and traveling extensively. Sine she was a little girl she has learned to do everyday things with her feet. Including texting, playing the piano and flying a plane. One of the first things she learned was tying her shoes with her feet. Jessica does not let disability stop her from doing what she loves. In fact she even drives a car with no restrictions or aides.
